Remarks A remarkable vessel: Three owners in the boat's lifetime---all of them "older" men more interested in the gentle pursuits rather than racing; this boat has never, no "never", been raced or stressed. Kria is the equivalent of the fabled vehicle "driven only to church on Sundays by a little old lady." The marjority of the upgrades and improvements have been effected by the present owner, a fishboat-shipwright. The engine (a venerable 9.9 Johnson OB) underwent a major over-haul three years ago which included replacing the lower-end; the motor has an estimated 23 hrs of use since the over-haul. All standing rigging (with the exception of the lifelines) was replaced two years ago.
